Using simple ingredients found in your kitchen, you can give yourself almost the exact same facial that would cost you an arm and a leg at a spa. The truth is that the best facials are made from natural ingredients.

Oatmeal Facial Ingredients

One of the best ingredients to cleanse and moisturize your skin is oatmeal. Many body products are made with oatmeal. Here are a few oatmeal based facials that will help cleanse and moisturize your skin.

The first facial recipe usies a tablespoon of oatmeal powder, a single egg white, and a few drops of lemon oil. You can find lemon oil at most natural or homeopathic stores or you can check the organic section of your grocery store. Grind some of the oatmeal you have on hand to make your own oatmeal powder. Don’t use the instant kind, though. Be sure to mix the ingredients together completely, especially important since you’re using egg in this mixture. Take care to avoid your eyes when spreading the mixture on your face. Allow to dry which takes about twenty minutes or so. When it is already dry, you can wash it off with water and a soft washcloth. If you have dry skin, this next recipe can be really helpful. Mix together a ripe banana that has been mashed and a cup of oatmeal. Use some milk to thin this thick mixture into a creamy paste. Spread this creamy paste on your face, avoiding the area around your eyes and let sit for ten to fifteen minutes. After fifteen minutes, rinse it off with clean water. And now you have wonderfully moisturized skin.

One rather effortless oatmeal facial involves simply combining a whole egg, a portion of cooked instant oatmeal and a tiny portion of olive oil. Mix these three ingredients together until you have a smooth paste. Daub the paste onto your face and permit it to dry. When the mask has been already dried, rinse your face with some lukewarm water. Your face will be fresh, velvety and free from oils.
