Disney’s Fastpass System

Anyone who has visited a Disney park knows that a large amount of their time will be spent waiting in lines. One way to avoid or reduce your wait time is to use the Fastpass system!

Fastpasses are free with any park admission, but there is a limited quantity at each attraction for each day. Fastpasses are availible at most of the popular attractions, and even a few select shows, such as World of Color at Disney’s California Adventure park in Anaheim, California.

Your Fastpass will show two times on it, usually an hour apart. This is your ride time! Disney cast members are not allowed to accept early arrivals, but you can usually use your fastpass later than the time printed, although the wait time may be slightly increased.

You will need a Fastpass for each member in your party, and one park ticket will only give you one fastpass. You can get another one at the time of the first fastpass, or two hours after you picked the first pastpass up, whichever comes first. So if it’s 11:05 and you get a Fastpass at Space Mountain and it has a return time of 12:25, you can get another Fastpass at any attraction after 12:25. If, however, the fatspass is for 5:40, you can get another fastpass at 1:05, two hours after you got the first one.

Remember, the Cast Members are there to help you, and remember to not stress and enjoy your trip!
